Patience Is.

Patience is.

That’s it. That’s the phrase.

Why? Because it looks different for every single one of us.

Sometimes patience is simply sitting at a red light waiting for it to turn green. Other times, patience is waiting for test results, holding your breath for news that could change the direction of your life. Patience can even be in the quiet strength it takes not to rush into a decision—choosing “The Wait” over the impulse.

The beauty, and sometimes the struggle, is that patience doesn’t have a single face. It shifts and reshapes depending on the situation, the season, or the struggle. What I may call patience, you may see as endurance. What someone else calls patience, you may see as hesitation. That’s why patience is… because it just is.

Think about the dog who faithfully waits by the door until you return home to take them on a walk. Think about the student refreshing their email over and over, waiting for their final exam results. Think about the person waiting in a hospital waiting room, eyes glued to the clock.

Patience is a teacher.

And here’s the twist: it requires patience to learn patience.

We want everything now—faster cars, instant answers, same-day delivery. But patience doesn’t move at that speed. It slows us down, stretches us, and sometimes frustrates us. Yet in that stretch, something grows—peace, wisdom, resilience, and clarity.

So, patience is.

Not because it’s always easy.

Not because it looks the same for everyone.

But because in every wait—big or small—there’s something shaping us, preparing us, and reminding us that timing has its own perfect rhythm.

Patience is.
