Trust and Truth

Yesterday has its place, but it doesn’t belong in your today. What you believed, what you assumed, or even what disappointed you yesterday cannot define the trust and truth you carry forward now. Every new sunrise brings an invitation: be trustworthy, be truthful—not because someone told you to, but because it’s the right thing to do.
Too often, we slip into the habit of testing people. We measure them against silent checklists, hidden traps, or expectations they never knew existed. But here’s the truth—people don’t need to be tested. They need to be allowed. Allowed to be who they are. Allowed to live by their own values, morals, and ethics. When you give someone space to stand in their genuine self, you’ll see clearly who they are without ever setting up a test.
Authenticity is the bridge. Your truth must match theirs. Your honesty must mirror theirs. Your trustworthiness must meet theirs in the middle. Because trust and truth are not one-sided—they take two.
So, let go of yesterday’s shadows. Stand present in today’s light. Choose to be consistent in your trust and your truth. When you do, you’ll find that the right people—those who live with the same authenticity—will naturally align with you.
