Examine It!

Examine It!

by #Learnedman | Smiles R Contagious

“Examine it!”

That’s it. That’s the blog.

But let me explain how we got here…

While catching up with a close friend, the title blossom, I found the clarity I didn’t know I was waiting for. A pause. A moment. A simple, precise phrase:

Examine it.

Because after a while—after you’ve lived a little, learned a lot, fallen, risen, and repeated the cycle—you begin to understand the power of paying close attention. You don’t just look…

You observe.

You don’t just listen…

You hear.

You don’t just react…

You respond—with purpose.

Now, what exactly am I asking you to examine?

Simple answer? Everything.

Complicated answer? Still… everything.

Not in a way that leaves you frozen in indecision or stuck in the overthinking loop. But in a way that invites growth. Presence. Perspective.

It’s not just one thing.

It’s The Thing.

You know The Thing

• The thing that makes you smile unexpectedly in the middle of the day

• The thing that still gives you butterflies when you think about it

• The thing that got under your skin and taught you boundaries

• The thing that made you walk away from what no longer served you

• The thing that made you say, “I want more for myself”

• The thing that keeps whispering, “This is peace… this is purpose.”

You see, The Thing isn’t one single moment or decision. It’s the thread that weaves through your life—personal and professional. And the more you examine it, the more clarity you gain on how to move forward in peace.

Examining it doesn’t mean you’re stuck in the past. It means you’re learning from it.

It means you’re looking at the whole picture:

The lessons.

The wins.

The wounds.

The wonder.

The beauty is, you get to decide what stays and what goes. What moves you and what drains you. What needs healing and what simply needs to be released.

So today, I invite you to pause.

And simply: Examine It.

Your smile may just be hiding in the details you’ve been rushing past.
